Corrections policy
We aim to be accurate, and to update our content as the evidence changes. Health information moves, and we would rather fix something quickly than defend it.
How to report an error
If you spot a mistake, email corrections@intolerance.app. Please include the page and what you believe is wrong. We read every report.
How we handle corrections
- We correct clear factual errors promptly.
- For a material correction (one that changes the meaning or the practical takeaway), we note it at the foot of the affected article with the date and a short description of what changed.
- Minor fixes (typos, broken links, clarity edits) are made without a note.
- When the underlying evidence or a guideline changes, we update the page and refresh its "last reviewed" date to reflect the real re-check, not a cosmetic change.
Regular review
We re-review our most-read health pages on a schedule, and after any relevant change in medical guidance, so the "last reviewed" date on each page reflects a genuine accuracy check.
What we will not do
We will not quietly alter a substantive claim to hide that it was wrong, and we will not leave a known error standing. If we got something wrong, we fix it and, where it mattered, we say so.
